Everything about this hotel is excellent, the quality of the rooms, the staff, the food, the hospitality is beyond compare The hotel is a fantastic hub from which to explore Connemara.

view from the room was outstanding. Staff were very friendly, but also went the extra mile in sending on my kindle by post as I had left it behind! Very convenient to local pubs, shops and cafes. Great base for hikers.

Food was great - massive portions

Such a great experience as it is dog friendly hotel and you could have our dog everywhere. Staff was very kind and helpful. Gret location, lovely breakfast.

We loved our room with views of the lake. The hotel was very welcoming and had a good breakfast plus a restaurant for dinner. Very comfortable.

No lift and no help with large suitcases. Luckily members of our family were able to help us.

I have come to this hotel for 42 years and would say it is my favourite hotel in Europe. Location CANNOT be improved upon. Local walks are superb and the two pubs in the village are great. Breakfast superb. Will be back this year for at least one visit. Staf are very friendly and helpful.

Location next to a killary fjord, no light pollution, misty morning over the water.

The location was stunning. I'm sorry I didnt get the name of the man who was the server for dinner because he was terrific! The breakfast was great and the brown bread was amazing All staff were great to deal with Room was great and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a great surprise I'll be back as soon as I can.

There was nothing I didnt like.

Staff were excellent, food very good, location great for touring by car and for walkers/gamblers. Dog friendly was an initial requirement and it was ideal for our dog.

No complaints, met or exceeded our expectations.

The brown bread was the best I’ve tasted.The temp of the room was cosy the entire hotel was warm which I loved.

I usually need a very quiet room away from street noises and kitchen noises, so had to find a small room at back, single bed I prefer doubt bed, otherwise good

The location surrounding the hotel is breathtaking. The manager that greeted us at the hotel was very friendly and also made some recommendations for the sights around the area and for the rest of our trip - this was appreciated. We felt at home straight away. The room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the fjord. The bed was very comfortable. Our room was in the original building of the hotel and does not have a lift to the floors above - it didn't bother us at all. We liked the vintage look and feel of the hotel. The dinner in the bar that evening and the breakfast the next morning were delicious. By far our favourite hotel we stayed at during our trip. Would have loved to stay longer.

So accommodating about starting breakfast early. Lovely phocopied maps of area. So pleasant and personal. Beautiful fire in sitting room and so relaxing.

Very welcoming hotel, real family feel, rooms are very clean and spacious , food is some of the best I have ever tasted and extremely reasonable, will definitely be back 10/10.

wonderful location and a wee porch out side over looking the inlet. The breakfast here was outstanding and inc.in the room rate. parking is fine a little limited but all Ok . One thing the bed was really comfy , all and all This is a great stop over .

It hade everything we needed and the staff were very friendly throughout!

One of my pillows had a bit of a chemical smell, but I changed it and the other was fine! While my son and husband didn’t notice it, I detected a smell in the bathroom. Didn’t deter me though! This place is lovely!

Amazing views of Killary harbor from bedrooms. Worth it for the view alone! Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here.
